During one of his travels around Spain in search of products and ingredients to include in the menus of his restaurants, Albert Adrià came to the province of Cadiz, where he met Álvaro Montero, a Barcelonan passionate about the world of preserves, to which he has devoted almost his entire professional career.
On his return from a trip to Japan that left a lasting impression on Álvaro, he suggested that Albert create a prestigious brand of preserves. And it was then that Albert had the idea to go one step further: to create a brand with a vermouth identity, in which each product would have its own special touch.
