50 Days by Albert Adrià at Café Royal London is the name of the chef’s first international (and short-lived) project, which took place from 12 February to 9 April 2016 and, as the name suggests, lasted just 50 days.
The experience began at the Oscar Wilde Bar with a selection of cocktails and canapés, and ended at The Domino Restaurant in the luxurious Café Royal Hotel on Regent Street. These are two of the most admired and historic spaces in the city.
During the 50 days of Albert Adrià at the Café Royal in London, more than fifty guests were served each day in a gastronomic experience that lasted around two and a half hours.
The project continued in 2018 with the opening of Cakes & Bubbles, a new pastry and sparkling wine space in the same hotel.
