Chefs table

The fifth season of Chefs Table, which premiered on 28 September 2018, has Albert Adrià among its protagonists, who at the time of filming was leading the elBarri group in Barcelona with six restaurants.

The chapter recounts how Albert began to claim his place as one of the fundamental parts of the best restaurant in the world, elBulli, and explores how far his creativity can take him in the world of gastronomy. Although the documentary talks about his most successful venue, Tickets, it focuses on the opening of his latest project, the restaurant Enigma.

In an interview about the chapter, series creator David Gelb said:

“People know about El Bulli, but they don’t know much about the work of Albert Adrià. It was about looking at one of the great institutions of world cuisine from an unexpected perspective. He is a great chef and we wanted to give him the opportunity to tell his story.
